I have three beautiful little kids - they came off the mountain and were indeed feral. With some consistent work, I now have them following me around! Their training has been a very interesting journey with much joy - and so I introduce Ludmilla, Astashia and Lisset to you.
The due date for the first foal has been and gone and I am told not to worry as mares frequently go to 12 months. Such a long gestation. Miss Pearl has such a large rounded tummy. Miss Nellie is not due until late September.
My beautiful Elise, milking cow, calved last week and died the following day. A total mystery. So now dear Blossom is rearing two calves and needless to say that with the continued drought, I am unable to milk her as she is battling to produce enough milk for the two calves despite eating me out of house and home!
Astashia, Ludmilla and Lisset on their arrival. Me introducing my self to my camel. The ride was fabulous along the beach. The changing skyscapes fascinate me even when away from home. The catholic church at Beagle Bay - famous for its inlay of pearl shell. It is ever so quaint and its history envelops you as you enter. Then there are the ever long red straight roads that go for miles! And of course the picture to prove the catching of the fish.
